Chang'e 6 scientific data is released

 The Chang'e-6 launched on 3 May 2024 from Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site on Hainan Island, landed on the Moon on 2 June 2024, collected 1935.5 g of lunar samples and returned to the Earth on 25 June 2024.

The Ground Research and Application System of Chinese Lunar Exploration Project released the scientific data of Chang'e 6 to relevant researchers . The scientific data acquired by 4 scientific payloads onboard Chang'e-6 lander. A total of 3819 data files, with a total data volume of 5.1 GB are released. The data is described in detail in the product description.

The Ground Research and Application System is one of five major systems of Chinese Lunar Exploration Project, it responsible for the lunar exploration data receiving, processing, managing and releasing. The GRAS Moon and Planetary data center provide data services and technical support.
